Tuition:

COST: $60/month, December is a ˝ month and therefore ˝ price

 There is a10% sibling discount. A $55 non-refundable registration fee is required for all new students. Returning students pay a $10 registration fee. Returning students will continue to use their current pattern workbook until most of the projects have been completed. After which they will have the option of purchasing a new workbook ($45) or purchase, on their own, a commercial sewing pattern approved by the teacher. 

• Tuition is due prior to the first week of class and after that by the 7th of each month. Full payment for class must accompany registration. Check or cash accepted. 

• Fees cannot be transferred from month to month. If a student must cancel, 50% of the class fee will be retained. No refunds on or after the first day of class. 

• As a special incentive, if you sign up a friend, you will receive a 10% discount off the next months' tuition. 

• I offer a 10%discount if tuition is paid in advance for the school year. Students are required to purchase their own fabric and notions for each project. Fabric and notions for the first project, the backpack, are included in the registration fee. 

Attendance:

Attendance is very important, so please call or text me to let me know if you will not be attending so that class can proceed without you. Out of respect for other students, please do not attend class if you are ill. If you know in advance that you will miss class, please let me know and an attempt to reschedule for a different day and time. (Make-up classes are available for illness or required school activities). 

* If I must cancel due to weather events or illness, make-up dates will be offered. 

Inclement Weather:

As I noted before, classes follow the same calendar as Bartow County Public Schools. Sewing On the Edge will therefor follow the Bartow County Schools’ decision on inclement weather conditions. If school is cancelled due to bad weather, we will be closed. Announcements of cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page. 

Student Information:

Maximum of 4 students per class.

All sewing machines and tools are provided. Students do not need to bring equipment. Sewing craft projects are available to the students who finish a project with class time left to spare. 
All sewing is done in my studio; no outside sewing required.

Student Drop Off & Pick Up:

Please don’t drop off earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled class time. Please be punctual when dropping off and picking up. I do know that things do happen, please call and let me know if you will be unable to pick up or drop off at your scheduled time. I do have a small waiting area next to the classroom. The studio is upstairs and I ask all students to hold the hand rail going up and down the stairs.
