Kids Can Sew First Year Program
FirstYear Program teaches the student how to use the sewing machine. The skills taught are: sewing symbols, reading directions, seam allowance, fabric layout, measuring marki,ng, pinning, cutting, casings, hemming, facings, pivoting, and much more.

This workbook and pattern kit helps students achieve a better understanding of STEM/STEAM learning & thinking. 

The projects include: a simple skirt, Cool Cat Pillow, Pants, Round Neck Blouse, Sewing Pack (Backpack), Peasant Nightgown, Peasant Blouse, and Notions Bag.

Kids Can Program Level 1- 1.5
A more casual program that continues teaching how to use the sewing machine. The skills taught are: sewing symbols, reading directions, seam allowance, fabric layout, measuring, marking, pinning, cutting, casings, hemming, facings, pivoting, and much more. 

Ages 6-13. This workbook and pattern kit helps students achieve a better understanding of STEM/STEAM learning & thinking.

The projects include: Back Pack, Cargo Shorts, V-Neck Shirt, Paw-Feet Pillow, Sports Shorts, and Diggity Dog Pillow.


Kids Can Sew Second Year Program
Second Year Program teaches additional sewing skills, such as: pleats, knits, drawstring waist, buttons & holes, reinforces concepts learned in the Level 1 and more. Projects are made using cotton fabrics and introduces knit fabrics.

This workbook and pattern kit helps students achieve a better understanding of STEM/STEAM learning & thinking.

The projects are: Maxi Skirt, Raglan Tee (mid sleeve or short sleeve), Elephant Pillow, shoulder Tie Purse, Easy Pleat Skirt, and Lounge Pants.

Third Year Student Program reinforces skills and techniques taught and learned in Levels 1 & 2. New techniques and skills introduced include clothing/craft zippers, waistband, gathers, using fusible interfacing, and MORE!

This workbook and pattern kit helps students achieve a better understanding of STEM/STEAM learning & thinking.
