About Me
Sewing clothes, gifts and quilts has been part of my life since I was a child. Quite a few years ago I started teaching my daughter’s friends how to quilt. Seeing their excitement and helping them achieve their personal quilts was sooo fulfilling. Therefore, when the time and opportunity came I decided to open up a school to pass on the joy and excitement of learning to sew and Sewing on the Edge was born. I look forward to helping others learn how much fun it is to sew and by doing so create something all their own. When you learn to sew you learn about life. Sewing is a process with steps to follow. Mistakes will be made, they allow the opportunity to learn and to grow. Creativity blossoms and allows for individualism. I am a Licensed Teacher of the Kids Can Sew & Fashion Design Program.
